Fold 2 - Understanding why coefficient 144731928 was selected
Tag: 7"
Selected Coefficient: 144731928
Taxonomy Path: 14.11.10.4.3
Taxonomy Name:
Products with this tag: 15
Unique residual values tried: 3
The algorithm tries each unique residual value as a candidate coefficient and selects the one with the lowest total p-adic loss. The selected row is highlighted.
| Candidate Value | Total P-adic Loss | Taxonomy Path | P-adic Expansion | Taxonomy Name | Selected? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 144731928 | 2.000000 | 14.11.10.4.3 | 3.4.10.11.14 (3*83^4 + 4*83^3 + 10*83^2 + 11*83 + 14) | Yes | |
| 186 | 14.000000 | 20.2 | 2.20 (2*83 + 20) | No | |
| 96687199 | 14.000000 | 1.1.8.3.2 | 2.3.8.1.1 (2*83^4 + 3*83^3 + 8*83^2 + 83 + 1) | No |
These are the training products that have the "7"" tag (processing sequence 2362). The residual is the encoded taxonomy value minus all coefficients from previously processed tags.
