Fold 4 - Understanding why coefficient 506 was selected
Tag: DELL
Selected Coefficient: 506
Taxonomy Path: 8.6
Taxonomy Name:
Products with this tag: 5
Unique residual values tried: 4
The algorithm tries each unique residual value as a candidate coefficient and selects the one with the lowest total p-adic loss. The selected row is highlighted.
| Candidate Value | Total P-adic Loss | Taxonomy Path | P-adic Expansion | Taxonomy Name | Selected? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 506 | 3.000000 | 8.6 | 6.8 (6*83 + 8) | Yes | |
| 350 | 3.012048 | 18.4 | 4.18 (4*83 + 18) | No | |
| 848 | 3.012048 | 18.10 | 10.18 (10*83 + 18) | No | |
| 68882 | 4.000000 | 75.82.9 | 9.82.75 (9*83^2 + 82*83 + 75) | No |
These are the training products that have the "DELL" tag (processing sequence 5602). The residual is the encoded taxonomy value minus all coefficients from previously processed tags.
