Fold 4 - Understanding why coefficient 4023344 was selected
Tag: OUTLET
Selected Coefficient: 4023344
Taxonomy Path: 2.2.3.7
Taxonomy Name:
Products with this tag: 5
Unique residual values tried: 3
The algorithm tries each unique residual value as a candidate coefficient and selects the one with the lowest total p-adic loss. The selected row is highlighted.
| Candidate Value | Total P-adic Loss | Taxonomy Path | P-adic Expansion | Taxonomy Name | Selected? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4023344 | 2.000000 | 2.2.3.7 | 7.3.2.2 (7*83^3 + 3*83^2 + 2*83 + 2) | Yes | |
| 0 | 4.000000 | 0 | 0 (0) | No | |
| 262045 | 4.000000 | 14.3.38 | 38.3.14 (38*83^2 + 3*83 + 14) | No |
These are the training products that have the "OUTLET" tag (processing sequence 4030). The residual is the encoded taxonomy value minus all coefficients from previously processed tags.
